Dating back to the 15th century, this 8.5 hectare property, consists of a main villa, with a separate residence for guests including a private chapel. A former mill is now a reception hall for banquets and events.
Built for lavish entertaining, the kitchens have all benefitted from upgrading to state of the art facilities, plus the addition of informal dining options.
The main villa's kitchen features a huge walk in pantry and staircase to the extensive underground wine cellar. With it's direct access to the garden it is ideal for dining al-fresco under the shade of tall trees.
The Estate Manager's house and several outbuildings are surrounded by lush Italian gardens, woodlands and a citrus garden.
A Foundation of History
It is rumored that the property is built on the ruins of a pre 15th century building but we can't corroborate this as a fact. The existing property is documented to have been built in the 15th Century, and has benefitted from extensive restorations over the years.
Several 1600s frescoes that were discovered under false vaulted ceilings have been restored. Original mosaic floor tiles were matched perfectly, and new frescoes by William Xerra one of Italy's most important contemporary artists, was commissioned by the former owners to paint many of the formal room's ceilings in the style of the original era.
The Old Mill is one of the most valuable properties of its kind due to its size and construction technique. Currently used as a party hall and for cultural gatherings, there's a large room that opens out onto the courtyard and gardens, ideal for many functions. The lower level consists of a full catering kitchen. Weddings are frequent as are pool parties, adjacent the 15m x 6.5m pool.

Connected to the main house by a suspended corridor, the guest house offers its own kitchen, dining room, four bedrooms and three bathrooms. A private chapel adjoins this building which features a painting by Alejo de Vera dated 1873. The views of the Adriatic and Tronto Valley from the roof terrace are spectacular.
